Features and limitations

Nasca has some limitations the user needs to know. Those limitations may or may not be definitive, since the code is in constant development.

Input data

For now (rev 1), only NX NASTRAN is supported, and this in a certain extent.

The NASTRAN model (.dat, .nas, etc) needs to match:

The NASTRAN result file (.f06), needs to match NX NASTRAN syntax.

Outputs Reading

Corners data

QUAD4 corners data extrapolation are ignored. This means taht for QUAD4 forces and stresses, whatever the output request was, only the centroïd value is read.
